WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

So Big tests the book’s ideas against what happens inside organisations, including yours. We meet on Zoom for a series of four sessions, each built around one idea from the book. I open each session with a story from the book, then spend the rest of the time on your questions and where you see the same pattern in your own organisation. What comes out of those conversations goes into the next draft.

THE FIRST SESSION

The first session takes its name from the book: why the patterns that run an organisation stay invisible to the people inside it. I’ll start with the story of two banks.

It’s on Thursday 26 November and lasts 45 minutes. I’m running it twice, so join whichever suits your time zone:

• Australia and Asia: 18:00 AEDT (08:00 CET)

• Europe: 12:00 CET

Over the next few days, I’ll email you the topics for the other three sessions. Your Zoom invitation will follow a week before the first one.

YOUR STORIES

In the meantime, I’d like to hear your stories. The book needs things like a rule in your organisation that nobody wrote down, but everyone follows; a culture programme where the posters changed and the building stayed the same; or a problem that keeps coming back, no matter how many times it gets fixed.
